The Rock Point Cougars nipped the visiting Pinon Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 62-58 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Rough Rock Sun Devils (Chinle, AZ) in a 1A North game, on Tuesday, December 9. Rock Point will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.

With the loss, Pinon falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ) to confront the Bruins in a 2A North outing on Tuesday, December 2.
