November 25, 2025: New Iberia, LA 70560 Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA), 50-45 in a non-league contest.
The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Eunice was tipped by DeRidder (DeRidder, LA), 23-22, in a league contest.
Next up, the Tigers face the Abbeville Wildcats (Abbeville, LA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 2. Westgate will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 44-34 non-league win over Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA).
