In Tuesday's non-league test, the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) basketball squad held off the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), by a count of 65-60.

With the victory, South Brunswick advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cougars host Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 3. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 4-0. Dixon won 54-27 in their recent non-league battle against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC)
