Mississippi High School Basketball - Horn Lake fells Northwest Rankin

Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS), 71-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Horn Lake upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Eagles host Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS) to play the Conquistadors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Conquistadors go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Olive Branch won 74-70 in their recent non-league bout against Raymond (Raymond, MS)

Next up, the Cougars play the Jim Hill Tigers (Jackson, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Northwest Rankin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
