The Newton Rams basketball team (Covington, GA), was nudged 58-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA)

The Indians now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Cobb for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2.

The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Duncanville (Duncanville, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record.
