Illinois High School Basketball - Normal Community can't hold off Normal West
November 26, 2022: Normal, IL 61761 The Normal West Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Normal Community Ironmen to 60 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomington Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Monday, November 28. Normal West will battle a Saints team coming off a 71-70 non-league win over Normal University (Normal, IL). The Saints record now stands at 2-1.
The Ironmen (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Bloomington was nudged by Normal University (Normal, IL), 58-48, in a non-league contest.
