North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Lee triumphant over Cape Fear
November 26, 2024: Sanford, NC 27332 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) and the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), observed Southern Lee's basketball team overwhelm Cape Fear by a score of 72-34.
The Cavaliers (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Western Harnett was ripped by Lee County (Sanford, NC), 65-25, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Cape Fear falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Colts host Triton (Erwin, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Triton won 68-32 in their recent non-league bout against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
