The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), observed Cox Mill's basketball team edge Northwest Cabarrus by a score of 78-72.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 90-60 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
