Texas High School Basketball - Plano West triumphant over South Garland
November 26, 2024: Plano, TX 75093 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) and the visiting South Garland Titans (Garland, TX), observed Plano West's basketball team overwhelm South Garland by a score of 60-25.
The Wolves (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks come into the 6A Region I District 6 challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Rock Hill was routed by Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 62-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans encounter the Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge, on Friday, December 6. South Garland will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 66-41 non-league loss to Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX).
