With the victory, Pottsboro upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Howe (Howe, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 11 match on Friday, December 20. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-2.
The Lions now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Krum for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. Ponder will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 57-52 non-league win over Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-3.
