In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Aubrey Chaparrals basketball team scored a good 60-48 triumph over the Ponder Lions.

The Chaparrals (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, City View topped Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX), 77-47, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Krum for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 12. Ponder will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 74-62 non-league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-5.
