Texas High School Basketball - Aubrey thwarts Paradise
December 13, 2024: Aubrey, TX 76227 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) and the visiting Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX), observed Aubrey's basketball team knock off Paradise by a score of 49-34.
The Chaparrals (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanger (Sanger, TX). The Indians come into the 4A Region II District 9 challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Sanger prevailed over Krum (Krum, TX), 71-66, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the City View Mustangs (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Paradise will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 74-61 non-league loss to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX).
