November 26, 2024: Concord, AR 72523 The Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) basketball edged the host Concord Pirates (Concord, AR), 50-46 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Greyhounds now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shirley for a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. Newport will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 71-38 non-league loss to Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Concord falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3.
