December 19, 2024: Bradford, AR 72020 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bradford Eagles (Bradford, AR) and the visiting Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR), observed Bradford's basketball team overcome Newport by a margin of 52-42.
The Eagles (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Marked Tree defeated Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR), 47-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Newport will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 40-37 league win over Osceola (Osceola, AR).
