The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) and the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), observed Tupelo's basketball team edge Neshoba Central by a score of 43-38.

The Golden Wave (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Booneville edged Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS), 49-22, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Neshoba Central will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
