In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Union Pines Vikings basketball team scored a close 51-46 win over the South View Tigers.

The Vikings (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Gray's Creek was tipped by Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 51-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. South View will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
