New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup holds off Valencia
November 26, 2024: Los Lunas, NM 87031 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Gallup Bengals basketball team scored a close 25-21 triumph over the Valencia Jaguars.
The Bengals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Deming nipped Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Valencia will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 63-61 non-league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
