New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup nudges Deming
November 30, 2024: Gallup, NM 87301 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) and the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), observed Gallup's basketball team edge Deming by a score of 61-56.
The Bengals (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Pojoaque Valley edged Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 52-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Deming will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
