Arkansas High School Basketball - Concord overwhelms Des Arc
November 27, 2023: Concord, AR 72523 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) and the visiting Des Arc Eagles (Des Arc, AR), saw Concord's basketball squad wallop Des Arc by a tally of 60-20.
With the victory, Concord improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Rural Special (Fox, AR) to confront the Rebels in a 1A Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Rural Special won 71-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR)
Next up, the Eagles confront the KIPP Delta (Helena, AR) in a 2A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, December 1. Des Arc will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 57-51 non-league loss to Marvell (Marvell, AR).
