Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA), 68-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dan River upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Tunstall won 116-47 in their recent non-league bout against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
