November 27, 2023: Carlinville, IL 62626 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL) and the visiting Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL), saw Carlinville's basketball squad hold off Carrollton by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Carlinville improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Vandalia (Vandalia, IL) to confront the Vandals in a South Central challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Vandals come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Vandalia won 57-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Ramsey (Ramsey, IL)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Carrollton will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Saukees come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 37-33 non-league loss to Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL).
