The Sahuaro Cougars basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Tanque Verde Hawks to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Tanque Verde for a non-league game on Monday, December 2. Sahuaro will confront a Hawks team coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
