California High School Basketball - Canyon Springs overwhelms Linfield Christian

November 27, 2024: Temecula, CA 92592

The Canyon Springs Cougars basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Linfield Christian Lions to 46 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Colton for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Canyon Springs will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 50-49 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Linfield Christian falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Temecula Prep (Winchester, CA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 3-3. Temecula Prep lost 64-19 in their recent non-league game against Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA)
