In Monday's non-league match, the host Discovery Spartans basketball team scored a good 71-62 triumph over the Lake Gibson Braves.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Haines City Hornets (Haines City, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 2. Discovery will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 93-31 non-league win over Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (Davenport, FL).

With the defeat, Lake Gibson moves to 0-2 on the year. The Braves host Kathleen (Lakeland, FL) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 29. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 0-0.
