The Vero Beach Indians basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Discovery Spartans to 57 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Southern for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Vero Beach will meet a Eagles team coming off a 71-68 non-league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

The Spartans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bartram Trail (St. Johns, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Bartram Trail was nudged by Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
