The Glen Iris Baptist Swordsmen basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Grace Classical Christian Academy Highlanders to 34 in the Swordsmen league triumph on Monday.

The Swordsmen now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chilton Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Glen Iris Baptist will battle a Patriots team coming off a 62-31 non-league loss to Adullam House Christian Academy (Wetumpka, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.

The Highlanders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian (Oxford, AL). The Tigers enter the Alabama Christian - II South contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian triumphed over Victory Christian Academy (Millbrook, AL), 60-52, in a non-league contest.
