In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Beech Grove Hornets basketball team scored a tight 60-55 triumph over the Perry Meridian Falcons.

In their next game, the Hornets meet the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) in a Indiana Crossroads match, on Friday, December 1. Beech Grove will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Sparkplugs enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 68-65 non-league loss to Covenant Christian (Indianapolis, IN).

With the defeat, Perry Meridian moves to 0-3 on the year. The Falcons host Mooresville (Mooresville, IN) to meet the Pioneers in a Mid-State match on Friday, December 1.
