The Screven County Gamecocks basketball team (Sylvania, GA), was overwhelmed 79-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA)

The Bears now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stockbridge for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. Burke County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 77-43 league loss to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
