The Petrolia Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Chico Dragons to 36 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Texoma Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Petrolia will meet a Eagles team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.

The Dragons (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Forestburg was defeated by Community Christian (Mineral Wells, TX), 57-37, in a non-league contest.
