Michigan High School Basketball - Covenant Christian tops Holland Christian
November 28, 2023: Grand Rapids, MI 49534 Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Holland Christian Maroons (Holland, MI), 59-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chargers host Unity Christian (Hudsonville, MI) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Maroons play the West Ottawa Panthers (Holland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Holland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 65-56 non-league win over Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI).
