California High School Basketball - Taft tops Foothill

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) and the host Foothill Trojans (Bakersfield, CA), saw Taft's basketball squad knock off Foothill by a tally of 50-37.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Stockdale won 59-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Workman (City of Industry, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Justin Garza Guardians (Fresno, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Foothill will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Guardians come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 71-60 non-league loss to Orestimba (Newman, CA).
