Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit overwhelms Hiawatha
November 28, 2023: South Beloit, IL 61080 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) and the visiting Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL), saw South Beloit's basketball squad wallop Hiawatha by a count of 96-33.
With the victory, South Beloit upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Sobos travel to Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL) to play the Green Giants in a Northeastern challenge on Friday, December 1. The Green Giants come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Alden-Hebron won 38-31 in their recent non-league challenge against LaMoille (LaMoille, IL)
Next up, the Hawks play the Orangeville Broncos (Orangeville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Hiawatha will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 31-24 non-league loss to Stockton (Stockton, IL).
