The South Beloit Sobos basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Amboy Clippers to 28 in the Sobos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Sobos now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galena for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. South Beloit will battle a Pirates team coming off a 61-24 non-league win over Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.

The Clippers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Galena (Galena, IL). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Galena was routed by Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL), 78-63, in a non-league contest.
