Illinois High School Basketball - Milledgeville crushes Amboy
February 9, 2024: Milledgeville, IL 61051 Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), 61-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Milledgeville upgrades its record to 11-14 on the season. The Missiles travel to Pearl City (Pearl City, IL) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 13-16. Pearl City lost 64-38 in their recent league bout against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL)
Next up, the Clippers clash with the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South bout, on Monday, February 12. Amboy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-24 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 4-23 record after their 39-38 league win over Amboy (Amboy, IL).
