January 30, 2024: Amboy, IL 61310 The Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) basketball crushed the host Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), 57-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Steamers (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Eastland (Lanark, IL). The Cougars go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Eastland walloped Polo (Polo, IL), 66-63, in a league test.
The Clippers now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they host Forreston for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South test on Thursday, February 1. Amboy will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 41-33 league loss to Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-14.
