North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Christian Academy winner over Providence Day
November 28, 2023: High Point, NC 27262 The High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) basketball felled the visiting Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), 76-60 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Trojans go into the NCISAA Piedmont test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Wesleyan Christian Academy was beaten by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 60-54, in a non-league test.
The Chargers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ravenscroft for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Providence Day will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Grace Christian (Sanford, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 3-2.
