North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Day holds off Wesleyan Christian Academy
December 16, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28270 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), saw Providence Day's basketball squad hold off Wesleyan Christian Academy by a tally of 56-54.
With the victory, Providence Day improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. A.C. Flora won 91-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Dreher (Columbia, SC)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Wesleyan Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC).
