Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Naperville Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Redhawks host Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to play the Warriors in a DuPage Valley bout on Friday, December 1. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Waubonsie Valley won 47-31 in their recent non-league bout against Batavia (Batavia, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban - Red bout, on Friday, December 1. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 60-36 non-league win over Argo (Summit, IL).
