November 28, 2023: Monticello, AR 71655 The Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR) basketball felled the host Monticello Billies (Monticello, AR), 55-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Lonoke was beaten by Beebe (Beebe, AR), 58-52, in a non-league test.
The Billies now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dumas for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Monticello will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 66-56 non-league win over Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.
