Alabama High School Basketball - Ragland tops West End
November 28, 2023: Ragland, AL 35131 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL) and the visiting West End Patriots (Walnut Grove, AL), saw Ragland's basketball squad knock off West End by a tally of 53-34.
With the victory, Ragland improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Purple Devils host Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Westbrook Christian lost 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Sardis (Boaz, AL)
Next up, the Patriots play the Brindlee Mountain Lions (Guntersville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. West End will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 64-37 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL).
