The Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), 62-52 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Forest Park (Forest Park, GA). The Panthers go into the AAAAAA Region 3 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Forest Park went down by Woodward Academy (College Park, GA), 78-3, in a league test.
