Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County overwhelms Caldwell County
November 28, 2023: Benton, KY 42025 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the visiting Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), saw Marshall County's basketball squad wallop Caldwell County by a count of 59-25.
With the victory, Marshall County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Marshals host Massac County (Metropolis, IL) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Tigers play the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Caldwell County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 63-52 non-league win over Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY).
