Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County overwhelms Paducah Tilghman
January 26, 2024: Paducah, KY 42003 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the host Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY), saw Marshall County's basketball squad wallop Paducah Tilghman by a tally of 62-30.
With the victory, Marshall County improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Marshals host Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Allen County-Scottsville lost 75-74 in their recent league challenge against Warren East (Bowling Green, KY)
Next up, the Blue Tornado confront the Cairo Pilots (Cairo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Paducah Tilghman will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 85-30 non-league win over Caruthersville (Caruthersville, MO).
