Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County holds off Graves County
December 8, 2023: Benton, KY 42025 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the visiting Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY), saw Marshall County's basketball squad hold off Graves County by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Marshall County improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Marshals travel to Henderson County (Henderson, KY) to confront the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Henderson County lost 63-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Graves County will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Aces come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 70-27 league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
