Kentucky High School Basketball - McCracken County over Graves County
January 26, 2024: Paducah, KY 42001 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) and the visiting Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY), saw McCracken County's basketball squad overcome Graves County by a tally of 46-27.
With the victory, McCracken County improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY) to confront the Blue Tornado in a District 2 battle on Friday, February 2. The Blue Tornado come into the battle with a record of 3-16. Paducah Tilghman lost 71-69 in their recent non-league battle against Cairo (Cairo, IL)
The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY). The Bombers come into the District 3 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Ballard Memorial prevailed over Shawnee (Wolf Lake, IL), 61-17, in a non-league battle.
