Kentucky High School Basketball - Marshall County crushes Massac County
November 29, 2023: Benton, KY 42025 Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL), 67-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Marshall County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Marshals host Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Green Hill won 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN)
Next up, the Patriots play the Murray Tigers (Murray, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Massac County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 45-34 non-league loss to Fulton County (Hickman, KY).
