The Downey Knights basketball team (Modesto, CA), was toppled 38-22 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA)

The Indians now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gregori for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 30. Ripon will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 51-41 non-league win over Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-2.

The Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Ceres beat Venture Academy (Stockton, CA), 54-38, in a non-league battle.
