West Wolfpack (Tracy, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), 43-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Castlemont (Oakland, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Castlemont won 49-38 in their recent non-league bout against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Downey will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
