November 28, 2023: Galva, IL 61434 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL) and the host Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL), saw Midland's basketball squad wallop Galva by a tally of 54-21.
With the victory, Midland improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to play the Mallards in a challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Mallards come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Henry-Senachwine won 35-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Streator (Streator, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Galva will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Heat come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 48-11 non-league win over Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL).
