The Huss Huskies basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Hickory Red Tornadoes to 54 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hickory for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7.

The Red Tornadoes (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Newton-Conover was defeated by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 57-33, in a non-league contest.
